The Bible predicts that an end-time world will be governed by an antichrist, antisemitic, and beastly world power. All who refuse to bow to its image as their Lord and Savior or receive its mark, in order to survive under its subjugation, will do so at the risk of their own life. We are rushing helter-skelter into this foreboding and Biblically foretold end-time scenario, as is proven by the new and duly elected mayor of New York City, the largest city in American and the most influential city in the world.

In his inaugural address on Thursday, Zoran Mamdani promised New Yorkers, "We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism." In spite of the fact that our Founding Fathers based our constitutional republic on individual liberties and believed that self-reliance was necessary to safeguard our republic from oppressive government, Mamdani is promising New Yorkers to replace "the frigidity of individualism with the warmth of collectivism." In other words, Mamdani, who is an avowed Marxist and anti-capitalist, is promising to put the greater good of society over all individual rights and freedoms, and to replace self-reliance with government dependence. Of course, the more New Yorkers depend upon being cared for by government the more dictatorial control government will have over all New Yorkers.

New Yorkers, as well as all Americans, would do well to remember the famous words of Lord Acton, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Collectivism always morphs into oppression, since its "benevolent" government always becomes more and more beastly as it gains more and more power. If you would really like to see the "warmth of collectivism" I suggest you look to Pol Pot's Killing Fields in Cambodia, Joseph Stalin's Soviet gulags, Mao Zedong's “Great Leap Forward”—the collectivist governance of China’s agriculture that resulted in the intentional starvation of 30 to 40 million Chinese—or to Adolf Hitler's notorious concentration camps, like Auschwitz and Treblinka. I guarantee you that if you look to these horrifying places rather than listen to Mamdani's hollow promise you'll not be left feeling the warm fuzzies, but in a cold sweat.

That the new mayor of New York City is an antichrist, antisemitic, and anti-American Muslim, not to mention a capitalist-condemning Marxist, is one thing, but that New Yorkers elected him and Democrats are embracing him is another thing altogether. It all proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, how primed we are for the Biblically predicted and beastly world power of the perilous times of the last days, the threshold of which, we have now definitely passed over.
