In Jack Webb fashion, here's nothing but the facts. First, ICE agents, in what DHS is calling, "Operation Midway Blitz," have been deployed in and around Chicago, to arrest criminal illegal aliens. So far, hundreds have been arrested, including 37 in an ICE raid on a Tren de Aragua run apartment building on Chicago's South Shore. Remember, it was members of Tren de Aragua, a criminal gang from Venezuelan, sent here by Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, to wreak havoc in our streets, that have committed heinous crimes against innocent Americans, such as the murders of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray and 22-year-old Laken Riley. 

Second, both the Democrat Governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker, and the Democrat Mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, who have allowed these criminal illegal aliens to freely walk the streets, as well as to confiscate properties, like the South Shore apartment building in Chicago, are vehemently opposed and violently protesting the presence and operation of ICE agents in and around Chicago. By doing so they have stirred up violent protests in Broadview, a suburb of Chicago, where an ICE facility is located. The protests, which have resulted in multiple arrests, have become more violent in recent days, as Broadview's Democrat Mayor, Katrina Thompson, has joined the Democrat chorus in the damning and demonizing of ICE agents. Consequently, attacks against ICE agents are up over 500% and bounties are now being placed on their heads. For instance, the leader of Chicago's Latin Kings gang, Juan Espinoza Martinez, was just arrested for offering to pay $2,000.00 for the capture of any ICE agent and $10,000.00 for the murder of any ICE agent.

Third, Saturday, near Broadview, ICE agents, while performing a routine patrol, were rammed and boxed in by 10 vehicles, one driven by a woman armed with an automatic weapon. In defense of their lives, which were obviously being threatened, ICE agents were forced to fire shots in their self-defense. Although they called for emergency aid from the Chicago Police Department, no aid was dispatched. Both a dispatch message and a radio recording prove that the chief of patrol at the time ordered all Chicago police officers to stand down and not to respond to the endangered ICE agents desperate call for help. This unbelievable and incontrovertible dereliction of duty by the Chicago Police Department is now being denied by its Chief of Police, Larry Snelling, despite the indisputable evidence that it actually occurred and that Snelling is obviously lying.

All of the above reminds me of the words of George Orwell, in his famous book, 1984. According to Orwell, "The Party”—those usurping tyrannical control over a country—always, as "their final [and] most essential command," insist that the people "reject the evidence of [their] eyes and ears." Today's "Party," the Democratic Party, demands that none of us believe our lying eyes or ears, but only their downright lies. We must believe Police Chief Snelling, not the video, radio, and written evidence that conclusively contradicts him. We must believe Governor J. B. Pritzker, who condemns the Trump Administration for invading Illinois, by deploying ICE agents, along with federal troops, to detain and deport foreign invaders from our country. And we must believe Mayor Brandon Johnson, who insist that 30 shootings and 5 fatalities over the weekend in Chicago is just fine; in fact, it's good, since it is less than the number of shootings and fatalities on other weekends in America's bloodiest city. 

What's far more frightening to me than the fact that today's Democratic Party has become "The Party" of George Orwell's 1984, is the fact that millions of Americans are now believing Democrats’ downright lies rather than their own eyes and ears. Neither indisputable evidence nor inarguable common sense make any difference whatsoever to today's Democrat voters, who are now so brainwashed and brain-dead that they will believe any balderdash blathered by present-day political progressives, in spite of all of the ever-increasing and irrefutable evidence that they are nothing more than a pernicious pack of pathological liars.
