Today, the day after Christmas, is the first day of Kwanzaa, a holiday created back in 1966 by the leader of a violent black nationalist cult. Encouraged by the FBI, Ron Karenga, who was not only convicted and imprisoned for felony assault and false imprisonment, but also led a rival group to the militant Black Panthers back in the 1960s, created Kwanzaa as an alternative to Christmas for African Americans.
The made-up holiday by Karenga, which he made up at the behest of the FBI, is supposedly an annual celebration of African heritage and culture. However, its seven celebrated principles, which are symbolized by the lighting of one of its seven candles on each day of its seven day celebration, are the same as those of the militant Symbionese Liberation Army, whose most famous convert was Patty Hearst. Therefore, Kwanzaa’s seven principles—Unity, Self-Determination, Collective Work & Responsibility, Cooperative Economics, Purpose, Creativity, and Faith—are actually Marxist rather than African.
While Kwanzaa’s seven principles may be called “Nguzo Saba,” which is Swahili for “seven principles,” they are actually elements of Marxism, as well as the only part of this made-up holiday that was not made up by Maulana Karenga, as Ron Karenga now likes to call himself. Is there any wonder, therefore, that “The Squad” showed up at the Capital this Christmas week for what they called their “Squanzaa” celebration. After all, these far-left Marxists are far more celebratory over the births of Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, and Joseph Stalin than they will ever be over the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
