The Bible clearly predicts that in the last days many confessed Christians will "depart from the [Christian] faith" (1 Timothy 4:1). They will be seduced by demonic spirits and deceived by the "doctrines of devils." In light of this, consider how America's contemporary church is taking a knee at the behest of today's Black Lives Matter Movement. Far from being a mere racial and social justice movement, the founders of Black Lives Matter, who admit to being "trained Marxists" who are out to liberate the world from "heteronormative thinking," also allege that their movement, at its core, is spiritual, not social. According to them, not only are occult practices, such as chanting and necromancy, instrumental to the Black Lives Matter Movement, but much of its inspiration comes from the "resurrected" spirits of the dead, who they invoke "to work through them" by their practice of "hoodoo," which supposedly conjures up their venerated ancestors to bless them, protect them, and guide them. The Bible clearly teaches us that true Christians can no more associate themselves with something demonic than Christ can with the devil (2 Corinthians 6:14-16). How then can any true Christian take a knee before the Black Lives Matter Movement without betraying Christ and climbing into bed with the devil?
