I remember a bumpersticker that admonished Americans who had voted for Barack Obama in 2008, in order to prove they weren’t racists, to not vote for him again in 2012, in order to prove they weren’t stupid. Without a doubt, the stupid vote in 2020 is going for Joe Biden.

According to Joe, if Donald Trump “had done his job,” all the Americans who have died from the coronavirus “would still be alive.” Obviously, Joe thinks more of Trump than we’ve realized, since he attributes to Trump God-like powers. After all, only God could spare America from any fatalities during a world-wide pandemic.

Joe’s confusion of the presidency with divinity is understandable, since he served two terms as vice president to a man who believed himself divine. Dubbed “the One” by Oprah Winfrey, painted as “The Truth” by artist Michael D’Antuono, and confessed by actor Jamie Fox as "our Lord and Savior," Barack Obama publicly professed to possess God-like powers, such as when he promised America that he would “slow the rise of the oceans, lower the earth’s temperature, and heal our planet.”

That Obama falsely professed and that Joe foolishly presumes that the presidency wraps one in the mantle of divinity is bad enough, but what is worse is how a growing majority of Americans are being persuaded to believe in the omnipotence of Oval Office occupants. Many voters really believe, despite the fact that he keeps forgetting where he is and what office he is running for, that Joe Biden will be able to protect us all from the coronavirus, thanks to the omnipotent power that will be bestowed upon him by them casting their ballots for him.

If you listen to Joe, you’ll be convinced that Donald Trump’s failure to use his God-like powers as president is to be blamed for the more than 8 million confirmed coronavirus cases in the US, as well as for America’s 219,000 coronavirus fatalities. Of course, Joe Biden would have prevented it, by using his omnipotent presidential powers to have prevented any American from even getting the sniffles from this fast spreading worldwide pandemic. According to Joe, we need to elect him to the presidency and evict Donald Trump from the White House if we hope to stop this pandemic in its tracks and protect ourselves and our families from its scourge.

Unbeknownst to most Americans, we’ve already seen what we can hope for under the protection of a Biden presidency from a worldwide pandemic. In 2009, during the presidency of Barack Obama and vice presidency of Joe Biden, our country suffered the scourge of the swine flu (H1N1) pandemic. Whereas 8 million Americans have contracted the coronavirus under Trump, 60 million Americans contracted the swine flu under Biden and Obama. Although initially believed to be far more deadly than it turned out to be, the swine flu still claimed over 12,000 American fatalities, which represented 70% of all global fatalities. In other words, 7 out of 10 people who died from the swine flu were Americans. If the swine flu had been as deadly as the coronavirus, we would have lost more than 2 million Americans to the swine flu.

Speaking about Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s response to the swine flu pandemic, Ron Klain, Biden’s chief of staff at the time, said, “We did every possible thing wrong.” Klain went on to say: “It’s just purely a fortuity that this wasn’t one of the great mass casualty events in American history. It had nothing to do with us doing anything right. It just had to do with luck.

Are you voting for Joe Biden? If so, you better be feeling lucky, because Biden’s anything but divine. He’s a pitiful old man with onset dementia who’s already proven himself impotent rather than omnipotent in the face of a deadly pandemic.
