Yesterday, I posted about Bill Whatcott, a Canadian Christian who was fined $55,000 for referring to a man claiming to be a woman as a man rather than a woman. Apparently, it is now illegal in Canada to believe Genesis 1:27—"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." To make matters worse for Mr. Whatcott, he was further threaten by the Canadian court with more severe legal consequences if he doesn't conform to government coercion, which has been instigated by the militancy of Canada's LGBT community. I concluded yesterday's post by asking the question: "How much longer will it be until Christians in America are threatened with the same kind of legal jeopardy for embracing the doctrines of the Bible and refusing to echo the dictates of LGBT militants?"

Little did I know, while I was penning yesterday's post, that it was being reported in the media that Jerrold Nadler, the Democratic Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, had demanded the outlawing of religious beliefs in America deemed by him and other Democrats to be discriminatory against the militant LGBT community. According to Chairman Nadler, the “Equality Act”—proposed congressional legislation that will effectively undermine religious liberty and freedom of speech in the Christian community for the sake of the LGBT community—will make sure that all religious beliefs in this country will henceforth conform to the political correctness of present-day progressives and to the dictates of LGBT militants, who themselves are totally intolerant of all Bible-believing Christians.

The Democratic Party, along with its radical leftwing base, which includes the militant LGBT community, are hellbent on silencing the witness of the Christian church in America. They will stop at nothing and stoop to anything to suppress and subjugate us. Obviously, this Democratic obsession is evidence of demonic possession. What other explanation is there for Democrats' determination to destroy the Christian church in this country apart from the fact they've been taken captive by the devil to do his bidding (2 Timothy 2:26)?

In case you haven't figured it out yet, we've moved far beyond mere political differences in this country. We're now in this fallen world's final and Biblically predicted all-out-war against Christ and all things Christian. And, as Christ forewarned us, we are finding ourselves being increasingly hated by all men for His name's sake (Matthew 10:28). Christ added, however, that all who endure to the end will be saved. Will you succumb to government coercion at the forfeiture of your immortal soul or will you prove your soul's salvation by faithfully standing for Christ, regardless of cost and consequence to yourself?
