Aware that most folks today prefer their theology in bumper sticker quips, I've little hope that this post will prove very popular. It will, I'm sure, serve as another proof of God's call upon my life. I, as a voice crying in the wilderness, will once again cry out largely unheard in a world hurrying helter-skelter to its own destruction with its fingers in its ears. Still, I feel compelled to offer a take on today that will prove weighty, as well as most unwelcome.

For years evangelicals have preached that the end of time has come. We've pointed to the signs of the times and warned everyone everywhere of the urgency of preparing to meet God. Yet, now that our redemption is obviously at the door, we've .........

In a recent interview with The Hill, Dr. Ben Carson, who has sold his soul for a promised position in a Trump Administration, admitted that he had never seen Donald Trump pray. He said, however, that he had “eyewitnesses who have.” He went on to say that Trump “is starting to recognize that their is a greater power.” Wow, what a paragon of the Christian faith Donald Trump is turning out to be.

How can a person possibly be a Christian who needs eyewitnesses to prove he prays? How can a person possibly be a Christian—someone who confesses the Lord Jesus Christ—who is just “starting to recognize that their is a greater power”? How can a person possibly be a Christian who publicly ............

It doesn’t take a great deal of discernment, only a little bit of common sense to see through Donald Trump like a pane of glass. Yet, most Americans, as well as most modern-day evangelicals, are seriously lacking in both spiritual discernment and common sense. This fact is incontrovertibly proven by how they are taken with, as well as being taken by the Donald.

As we previously posted, no sooner did Donald Trump become the presumptive Republican presidential nominee than he began back pedaling on some of his campaign promises. He reneged on his promise to self-fund his campaign, which he assured us would prohibit him from being beholden to contributors once elected to office. In addition, he reneged on his proposed tax plan, ......

There are many historical figures who casts long dark shadows over today’s world. One of them is undoubtedly John Dewey, the atheistic humanist who spearheaded the transformation of our public schools into indoctrination centers. Dewey advocated the change of school curriculum from reading, writing and arithmetic to societal transforming propaganda. He saw the purpose of public education as the proselytizing of children from their parent’s values and convictions to a new social consciousness, one which he believed would ultimately transform our society into a socialist utopia.

We are reaping today the wild oats sowed by John Dewey. Rather than a socialist utopia, however, our society is “slouching .........

The mayor of America’s largest city, New York’s Mayor Bill de Blasio, has called on New Yorkers to boycott a Christian owned business, Chick-fil-A, because its owner believes in the biblical definition of marriage. At the same time, our federal government just sued the state of North Carolina over its governor’s refusal to allow perverts to invade North Carolinians’ privacy in the state’s public restrooms. A few years ago, Mayor Bill de Blasio, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and even President Barack Obama would have been impeached over such screwy shenanigans faster than a sneeze through a screen door. Today, however, such insanity is not only perpetrated with immunity, but actually performed for political ............

Russell Moore, with whom I often disagree, has called on Southern Baptists to stop Millennial bashing. His article on the subject is typical Southern Baptist’s fair in these truth-denying times. I suspect few will pay any attention to my objections to Moore’s musings, dismissing them as the mumbo jumbo of an un-credentialed nobody who is unqualified to even shine the shoes of a well-credentialed somebody like Russell Moore. For instance, I was recently told by a friend that someone with whom he shared my views on Bible prophecy quickly retorted, “Who does this guy think he is to disagree with Dr. David Jeremiah?” Apparently, the true test of biblical orthodoxy is no longer whether it agrees with what the Bible says, ......
