For days on end, I’ve been getting the most irritating email from Daily Events, the publication of so-called “Powerful Conservative Voices.” The email asks the question, “Is Hillary Morally Unfit to Be President?” Duh! Hillary Clinton is morally unfit to be anything but an incarcerated felon. But morality no longer matters in America; in fact, it not longer exists, having been replaced by individual subjective opinion. Every American today is free to make up their own moral code. The only roundly condemned wrong in today’s America is to deny every American the personal privilege of deciding for themselves what is right and wrong. To believe that morality is objective rather than subjective and that God.........
According to Jesus, when we lose our saltiness—willingness to stand uncompromisingly for the truth—as the salt of the earth—the preserver of society—we become good for nothing and will be trodden under foot of men (Matthew 5:13). A recently released survey from the Pew Research Center verifies this teaching of our Lord. According to the survey, faithful churchgoers in America are now lining up to support Donald Trump for the presidency. At the same time, the American people are seeing the church in America as increasingly irrelevant in our society.
In my opinion, Trump has picked the perfect VP for himself. Mike Pence is a man I once respected. In fact, he once referred to an article I wrote about him on his website. The article commended him for being one of the few Republicans in Congress with the courage to stand up for his conservative convictions. However, my present opinion of Pence has changed, having seen him turn into just another RINO right before my eyes.
Does it strike anyone besides myself ironic that yesterday's terrorist attack in France occurred during the celebration of Bastille Day, which is the commemoration of the storming of the Bastille and the commencement of the French Revolution? Occurring on the heels of the American Revolution, the French Revolution had two glaring differences. First, it was not a representative republic that French Revolutionaries spawned, but a pure democracy. Second, unlike our Founding Fathers who believed representative government could only succeed among a moral and religious people, the French believed in man's innate goodness and the need to unshackle the French people from all moral and religious restraints. 
My firm conviction that our country is spiritually reprobate and beyond redemption is founded on Scripture. For instance, in Romans 1:18-32, the Apostle Paul walks us down the road of the reprobate. He explains how the first step toward stepping over the line with God is taken when the sinner suppresses the truth about God; that is, the obvious truth that there is an intelligent Creator behind an intricately designed creation (vs.18-22). As you well know, our country has swapped the truth of Scripture, the Genesis account of creation, for what is falsely called science, the cockamamie theory of evolution. It is not, as popularly contended, science that has led us to swap the biblical "In the beginning God" for the balderdash of...
