Well, the Canucks have gone nuts. Canada has just sentenced a man to eighteen months in prison for saying that "Islam is evil." Well, if I were a Canadian, I'd be Eric Brazau's cellmate. In fact, as soon as this degree of despotism drifts south of the Canadian border, yours truly will be headed for the hoosegow, because I too say, "Islam is evil."
Many people argue that Islam is not evil, but only the "hijackers" of this "peaceful" religion who are committing acts of terrorism throughout the world today. The truth, however, is that the so-called hijackers of Islam are its true adherents. Islam's founder, the Prophet Mohammed, actually claimed to owe his victory over his enemies and his superiority over other prophets to terrorism. He claimed that he had "been made victorious with terror" and that one of the reasons he was "given superiority over other prophets" was that he had "been helped by terror in the hearts of his enemies." The Koran, the Muslim's holy book, actually teaches Muslims to "instill" and "strike terror into the hearts" of Non-Muslims by "smiting [them] above their necks and smiting all their finger-tips off."
The militancy of the Religion of the Sword is a fact incontrovertibly proven by Islamic history, as well as by the teachings of Islam's founder and holy book, which contains 123 verses teaching Muslims to fight and kill for the cause of Allah. In spite of this, Islam would still be evil even if no innocent blood had ever been shed by acts of terrorism perpetrated in its name. Ask yourself the question, if you could erase from Muslim history all acts of violence ever committed by Muslims against Non-Muslims, all verses in the Koran teaching Muslims to fight and kill for the cause of Allah, and all the headlines from today's newspapers about acts of terrorism being perpetrated by Muslims all over our world, what would you have left? You would still have a satanically inspired false religion that is being masterfully used by the god of this world to deceive untold millions into Christless graves and Christless eternities at the forfeiture of their immortal souls. It's this, the eternal destruction of immortal souls by its false teachings, more than the taking of innocent people's temporal lives through its acts of terrorism, that is Islam's greater evil. I say Islam is evil! What do you say? Furthermore, while I can't speak for you, I can say for myself, I'll keep saying it, even if I have to say behind bars!
