The murderers of babies and marketers of their body parts are found innocent of any wrongdoing in today's America. In fact, they are not only funded by our government with our taxpayer dollars in the committing of their unconscionable crimes against the innocents, but received increased funding in the recently passed congressional budget. At the same time, those who uncovered the unconscionable crimes of Planned Parenthood are now being prosecuted. What a country! Who could have ever imagined our nation becoming so spiritually reprobate?

In Jeremiah 7:30-34, God announces His sure and certain judgment upon Judah for sacrificing their children to idols. Contrary to popular opinion, idols are not just carved images substituted for God, but anything that comes before God in our lives or keeps us from obedience to God because of our obeisance to them. Therefore, today's feminists are idolaters who sacrifice their children for the sake of their own convenience. They abort their children so that their children won't cramp their style or hinder their career. Likewise, today's politicians are idolaters who sacrifice children for the sake of political expediency. They are wiling to sacrifice children for the good of their political careers or political party. Last, but not least, today's voters are also idolaters. They are willing to sacrifice children for the god of mammon. They line up at the polls to support pro-choice candidates for the sake of their labor unions or to assure their continuing benefits from government entitlement and welfare programs.

All of this adds up to one thing for sure, God's imminent judgment upon America. Just as God promised to gather the people of Judah together for judgment in "the valley of slaughter," because of their slaughter of their own children, God will gather the people of America together for judgment in "the valley of slaughter," because of our slaughter of our own children. Indeed, if God doesn't judge us, He'll have to apologize for His judgment of ancient Judah. After all, we've slaughtered far more children than ancient Judah ever dreamed of, more than 57 million since the Supreme Court legalized abortion on demand in 1973. You might not like this Time Capsule article, but if you're a Bible believing Christian, you can't dispute it. It's time to prepare to meet your God!
