As the head of the richest institution in the world, Pope Francis has called for a cultural revolution to end the exploitation of the poor and the polluting of the earth by the rich. In his 191 page encyclical on climate change, he indicts all “climate doubters.” Interestingly, he would never denounce doubters of Christ with the same vitriol with which he denounces doubters of climate change. It appears that Pope Francis is far more zealous about saving the planet than he is about saving souls, not to suggest that souls can be saved through the apostate church of Rome or through the false gospel that it preaches.
As we’ve pointed out repeatedly, manmade climate change, which was formerly touted as "global warming," before we experienced the last few record-breaking cold winters, is nothing more than a scientific hoax being perpetrated by socialists in an attempt to snooker us all into subjection to the state under the ruse of saving our planet. It’s a way for government to gain such control over our lives that it dictates to us the kind of car parked in our driveways, the temperature on our house thermostats, and even the kind of light bulbs we can screw into our living room lamps. When it comes to this pope, he is a known sympathizer with Latin-American style socialism, which would make him a prime candidate for the role of the false prophet, a role I believe will be played out beside a beastly American president who resides over the tyrannical one world government of the end-time.
Things are certainly heating up! But I don’t mean climatically; I mean prophetically. Everywhere you look today, government is attempting to snooker a dumb-downed world to knuckle under to a totalitarian state in order to save the poor or to save the planet. All who refuse to do so are readily and roundly condemned as uncharitable and climate doubters. Now that this ruse is being propagated by the pope, as well as by politicians, we’re seeing the beginning of an alliance between apostates and autocrats. It is an alliance designed to fool people into forfeiting their freedoms for the good of the planet; a planet, I might add, that is destined, according to the Apostle Peter, for some serious global warming.
“But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men…But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (2 Peter 3:7, 10).
