Following the 9/11/01 terrorist attack upon America, I wrote this book: The Truth About Islam. After last night's terrorist attack on Paris, I thought you might want to read it. I warn you, it's the truth about Islam, not the politically correct version being peddled by today's progressives who pretend there is no evil in our world, just happenstance and misunderstandings.
It is no accident that Islam is called the “Religion of the Sword.” Its founder, the Prophet Mohammed, taught: “The sword is the key to heaven and hell; a day of blood shed in the cause of Allah, a night spent in arms, is of more avail than two months of fasting or prayer: whosoever falls in battle, his sins are forgiven, and at the day of judgment his limbs shall be supplied by the wings of angels and cherubim.” The Koran, Islam’s holy book, contains 123 verses that teach fighting and killing for the cause of Allah. Contrary to popular belief, the jihadists who attacked Paris last night are not hijackers of a peaceful religion, but the real adherents to a militant religion that from its inception has seen itself at war with the whole world until the whole world is conquered by it and brought to its knees before Allah, the god of Islam.
Although it is learning the hard way and at the cost of innocent lives, France, a progressive bastion of bleeding hearts, is waking up this morning to the truth of the words of Edmund Burke: "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." Evil, even when wrapped in religious garb, can't be appeased. It can only be eradicated. Evil must be fought, lest evil take the world. This is the unfortunate truth in a fallen world that has now entered into the biblically predicted "perilous times" of its "last days" (2 Timothy 3:1). Still, men prefer to believe a lie. Rather than facing the obvious truth, clearly seen beneath last night’s darkened Eiffel Tower, men prefer to shut their eyes and pretend that there is no darkness in the “city of lights.”
