It's time we issued another "Global Warming" Warning. We've done this periodically over the years, like the time representatives from almost 200 different countries met in Cancun, Mexico to strategize about the best ways to save the planet from global meltdown. The ironic thing about this particular global warming conference was that while it was being held in Cancun, Mexico's popular seaside city, the city experienced the coldest temperatures ever recorded in its long history. Of course, numerous global warming conferences and events have been cancelled over the past few years by ice storms and blizzards. Still, shivering global warming dogmatists keep issuing dictatorial edicts undaunted by the danger of them dying from frostbite.

You've probably noticed that modern-day scientists and environmentalists have changed their planetary doomsday prognostications from "global warming" to "climate change." They've done this in recent days for good reason. First, though most people have long since forgotten it, they once predicted a coming ice age, due to their insistence that the earth was rapidly cooling. Then, when temperatures were unquestionably proven to be warming rather than cooling, they ceased to warn us of a coming ice age and starting warning us of global warming. Now, that scientific data is definitely proving temperatures to be cooling again rather than warming, they've adopted a duplicitous term—"climate change"—to allow themselves to move back and forward between opposing omens without being discredited by a continuously fluctuating thermometer.

Make no mistake about it; climate change is not science, but part of the "falsely" called science the Apostle Paul warned us about in 1 Timothy 6:20. The subtlety of its spiritual deception is found in the fact that it is actually a false religion masquerading as science. For instance, it has its infallible dogmas that are to be unquestionably adhered to regardless of contradictory facts and evidence. Anyone siding with scientific facts rather than practicing blind faith in the dogmas taught by the high priests of today's so-called science is readily and roundly condemned for their unbelief. They, as well as all who join them in rejecting the creed of climate change, are doomed by climate change's lab coat clad clergyman to perdition on an upcoming hotter than hell earth.

Revelation Chapter 13 teaches us about an end-time alliance between religion—the "false prophet" (vs. 11-18)—and politics—the so-called antichrist (vs. 1-10). The religion of climate change is an excellent example of how government will acquire dictatorial powers over the end-time world through worldwide religion. Much of the legislation being proposed and passed in Washington DC today, as well as in other seats of government all over the world, is purported to be designed to deliver us from earth threatening climate change. However, the real agenda behind such legislation is government's desire to control our lives from the kind of car we can park in our driveways to the kind of lightbulb we can screw into our living room lamps. As Paul admonished in 1 Timothy 6:20, don't be deceived by what is falsely called science. Big Brother is not trying to save you, but to enslave you!  

I must admit in closing that the Bible does predict an upcoming and inevitable global warming (2 Peter 3:1-14). However, your only hope of deliverance from it is repentance. You must turn from your sin with a broken heart and turn to Christ with all of your heart. No government legislation can prevent it; only God can deliver you from it. I implore you to turn to Christ today before things in this fallen world really start heating up.
