In Mark 8:35, Jesus said, "For whosoever shall save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it." Have you noticed how much the Gospel is being compromised today by Christians in an attempt to save their reputations, businesses, or jobs in a politically correct world? Have you noticed how much the Gospel is being compromised by ministers in order to save their ministries and climb the ecclesiastical ladder of success? And have you noticed how many churches, denominations and missionary organizations are beginning to compromise the Gospel in order to financially survive in this Gospel-hating world? It's as though we've forgotten that our mission in this world is the propagation and preservation of the pure Gospel, lost humanity's only hope of salvation, and mistakenly concluded that our mission is the preservation of ourselves, our ministries, our churches, and our denominations. Being too burdened over all of this to sleep last night, I spent another sleepless night in prayer. Some time in the early morning hours God gave me this word: "TO SURVIVE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE GOSPEL IS TO LIVE TOO LONG!"
