Introduction: Exodus tells the story of Israel’s miraculous exodus from Egyptian bondage, which gave birth to the Jewish nation.

Exodus 7:3-4 — As God hardened the heart of Egypt’s Pharaoh to bring judgement upon Egypt, the most powerful nation in the ancient world, God can harden the hearts of American politicians to bring judgment upon America, the most powerful nation in the modern-day world?

Exodus 14:1-31 ⏤ To see the salvation of the Lord often necessitates the proverbial and precarious predicament of God positioning us between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Exodus 23:1 — Not only are false witnesses deplorable to God, but also all who pile on to help perpetuate false accusations.

Exodus 23:2 — Lynch mobs partnering with false witnesses in the perverting of justice will be strung up by God for their scandalmongering.

Exodus 33:17-23 — Those who find grace with God and are intimate with God will have their prayers answered by God. They stand on a rock near Him and are protected in its cleft by His sheltering hand. They know His pronounced presence and personally see His goodness and glory.

Exodus 33:18-23 — The secret place of the most High is both a safe and sacred place, where God sets us on a rock near Him, shelters us with His hand, and shows us His glory.

Exodus 33:21-23 — Near God there is a rock where we can stand covered by His hand, while catching glimpses of His glory. Unfortunately, few ever find it for most are too fearful to come near it.

Exodus 33:22-23 — To catch a glimpse of God’s passing glory often necessitates the proverbial and precarious predicament of God positioning us between a rock and a hard place.
