During the COVID-19 pandemic, our government suspended our Constitution, revoked our constitutional rights and freedoms, locked down our economy, locked us up in our houses, and shutdown our businesses, workplaces, schools, and churches. Now, thanks to classified documents released Saturday by Tulsi Gabbard, Trump's Director of National Security, we've learned that all Americans who objected to our government's suspension of our Constitution and revoking of our constitutional rights and freedoms were labeled by our government as "domestic violent extremists." Unfortunately, this is nothing new, as the following two examples prove. Way back in 2009, Barack Obama's Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano, labeled pro-life Americans and Bible believing Christians who believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ as potential terrorist threats to our nation. Then, during the Biden Presidency, the FBI targeted purchasers of Bibles and Catholics attending Mass as potential domestic terrorists.
If you trace back this terrifying transformation of our government, from one designed to protect and preserve its citizens’ God-given and inalienable rights, as our Founding Fathers envisioned it to be, to a government that sees itself, not God, as the final arbiter of our rights, with the power to grant or revoke them, you’ll find yourself staring at the smoke of 9/11. If you go back to that infamous day, you’ll discover that it marked the first time in American history that we, the American people, voluntarily surrendered one of our constitutional rights to Big Brother. Scared witless over the frightening events of that infamous day, we subsequently, as well as willingly, allowed our government to wrest from us our right to privacy. With the passage of President George W. Bush’s Patriot Act, our government began surveilling and spying on us all, in exchange for its promise to protect us from all future terrorist attacks. Since that time, however, we’ve continued to surrender our constitutional rights, one right after another, in exchange for our government’s promised protection from a plethora of supposed existential threats, not just terrorism, but viruses, climate change, gun violence, institutional racism, white supremacy, misinformation, disinformation, fascism, ad infinitum.
I’ve longed believed, as I wrote in Time For Truth’s latest timely edition of The Wilderness Voice, that America is the book of Revelation’s “MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” For instance, carefully and prayerfully consider all of the following.
First, we are undoubtedly the “BABYLON” of our time; that is, the world’s only remaining superpower. Just as ancient Babylon, the world’s first superpower, was the political, economic, cultural, and religious center of the world in the days of Nebuchadnezzar, and Rome was in the days of the Apostle Peter (1 Peter 5:13), America is today. Furthermore, we are “GREAT,” in that we are not only the world’s final great superpower, but the greatest the world has ever known.
Second, we are a “MYSTERY,” since we were nonexistent at the time divinely inspired Scripture was penned. Hidden from preceding generations, there was no way that they could have foreseen America’s rise to unprecedented power. After all, the American continent was not discovered until the 15th century, America was not founded as a nation until the 18th century, and America did not rise to world supremacy until the 20th century?
Third, we are also “THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” We have committed the greatest spiritual harlotry in all of human history, by ceasing to be history’s greatest Christian nation and becoming an antichrist nation. Not only have we outlawed our government’s acknowledgment of Christ, but we’ve also condemned the profession and practice of the Christian Faith as intolerance and the preaching of Christ's Gospel by His church as hate speech. Consequently, we’ve ceased to export the light of the Gospel to the ends of the earth, as the greatest missionary nation of all time, and started exporting our moral abominations to the ends of the earth, by doing things like flying Gay Pride flags at all of our foreign embassies.
While there is a mountain of additional evidence to substantiate that we are indeed the book of Revelation’s “MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH,” I’ll let the evidence thus far presented in this Time Capsule suffice for now, so that I can turn our attention back to the smoke of 9/11. According to Revelation, “MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH” will go up in smoke in an hour’s time, while the whole world watches in amazement. Afterward, from its ruins will arise the beastly one world power of the end-time, which will launch our fallen world's final all-out-war on the people of God, both His chosen people—Israel and the Jews—and His elect people—the church and Christians. Now, no one can deny that Revelation’s prediction of the one-hour demise of “MYSTER BABYLON THE GREAT” is a perfect description of what occurred in an hour’s time on 9/11. Furthermore, no one can deny that ever since 9/11, our nation has been being reduced to ruins, as our government has continued to usurp the place of God, as our Lord and Savior, as well as suspend our Constitution and revoke our God-given, irrevocable, and constitutionally guaranteed rights and freedoms.
Although we have continued to exist since 9/11, we ceased on that day to be our former self. No longer are we the world’s greatest Christian nation, but an antichrist nation, becoming more and more antisemitic and antichrist all the time. No longer are we the land of the free and the home of the brave, but a land of cowards who give up their liberty for their government’s guarantee of security. Tragically, we’ve lost the spirit of the American Revolution and our Founding Fathers, one of whom, Benjamin Franklin, warned us, “Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety and will lose both.”
