TIME FOR TRUTH
THE ICHTHUS CHURCH > CHAPTER 11

Durbin I

In 2001, in Durbin, South Africa, the devil overplayed his hand in a breathtaking move that signaled to the serious student of Scripture, as well as to the spiritually astute, that the spirit of antichrist had taken possession of our world. Although the world’s attention was quickly diverted away, by the 9/11 terrorist attack upon our nation, as if Satan knew he had prematurely shown his end-time hand, the targeting of Jews and Christians by the whole world as its lone troublemakers served as proof positive that we had come to the precipice of the Biblically predicted end-time persecution of the people of God.

In Durbin, at the United Nations’ World Conference Against Racism, the delegations of the world, with the lone exceptions of the American and Israeli delegations, unanimously agreed that all racism could be traced to two sources—the Jewish State of Israel and “Christian America.” In other words, the whole world concurred that the lone culprits of all intolerance throughout the earth are Christians and Jews.

Years after the Durbin I Conference, we’re witnessing the astonishing rise of Christian persecution and anti-Semitism throughout our world. What is far more disconcerting, however, is the rise of this diabolical duo in our own country. Although it would have been unimaginable to all previous generations of Americans, our country is becoming something positively beastly—an anti-Semitic and antichrist nation whose politicians and populace are becoming increasingly acrimonious towards Christians and Jews. Both the Jewish state of Israel and the Christian church are being readily and roundly condemned in today’s America as the sole obstacles to a peaceful and paradisiacal planet long envisioned by pipe dreaming socialist utopians.

Needless to say, it’s time Christians drew a line in the sand; that is, started establishing Ichthus Churches—underground house churches. Only by going underground will we be able to make ourselves less vulnerable to a venomous world becoming increasingly vicious in its violent opposition to the church. As the sole stewards of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is our world’s only hope of salvation, it is imperative that we do everything we can to survive the impending persecution of the perilous times of the last days, lest the glorious light of the Gospel be snuffed out upon an ever-darkening earth, which is becoming more and more antichrist and anti-Semitic.
