Introduction: 2 Peter is the second New Testament epistle (letter) written by the Apostle Peter. It was written by Peter to warn Christians about false teachers and end-time scoffers.
2 Peter 1:16-21 — Any Christian who claims to be ignoring the study of prophecy in order to devote himself to evangelism is foolishly disarming himself of the most powerful weapon he could ever wield in the battle for men’s immortal souls.
2 Peter 1:19 — The most persuasive evidence that a Christian can present to prove the claims of Christ is the sure word of Bible prophecy.
2 Peter 3:1-13 — If the Bible predicts the future and its predictions come true, all scoffers of the Scripture are silenced.
2 Peter 3:1-13 — There is no global warming in the Bible, but a global warning. The earth will be dissolved and burned up on the Day of the Lord. So it's your personal salvation, not your planet's that you should be concerned about.
