The Growing and Spreading Malignancy of Islamic Fascism

You cannot appease an adversary bent upon your destruction. This is a no-brainer; it doesn’t require rocket science to figure out. Still, the world community incessantly insists upon Israeli appeasement of Muslim jihadists whose vowed objectives are to “wipe Israel off of the map” and to “drive the Jews into the sea.” While being faced with such a determined foe definitely puts Israel into a most unenviable predicament, it also leads Israel to an inevitable conclusion; namely, it’s us or them. Such is the harsh reality of today’s Middle East.
For a long time now the world’s foolhardy formula for peace in the Middle East has been championed by the catchy cliché: “Land for peace.” According to this cockamamie theory, if Israel gives land to its enemies then Israel’s enemies will be appeased and become peace-loving neighbors of the Jewish state. The reality, however, is quit the opposite. For instance, when Israel pulled out of Lebanon and Gaza, Israel’s sworn enemies took advantage of the Israeli pullout to abduct an Israeli soldier from Lebanon and to shell Israel from Gaza. Instead of “land for peace,” it’s more like “land for war,” according to former Mideast envoy Dennis Ross.
Muslim jihadists cannot be placated, but must be eradicated. Like a continuously growing cancer in the world’s body, Islamic fascism must be seen for the malignancy that it is. Until it is properly diagnosed, the international community will continue treating it with sugar pills. As a result, Muslim militancy will continue to spread as a world-threatening mass and Muslim militants will continue turning Israeli conciliations into military advantages in the Islamists’ war to annihilate the Jews.
