Planned Parenthood, a Mifeprex "Pez Dispenser"
20 Mar 2006
The Food and Drug Administration reported last week that two more American women have died after taking RU-486 or Mifeprex—the abortion pill. According to the FDA, this brings the total number of U.S. deaths from the pill to six. The real number, however, is much higher. More than 560,000 unborn children have been killed by the pill since it was approval by the FDA in 2000. Yet, these silent victims are never acknowledged by America’s abortion mill. If they were, we would be forced to face our unspeakable crime against the innocents.
The latest women to die from pill-induced abortions, received RU-486 from Planned Parenthood clinics. Planned Parenthood—a most inappropriate name for an organization dedicated to terminating pregnancies—has been in a long running dispute with the FDA over the safest way to administer pill-based abortions. Shortly after FDA approval of RU-486, Planned Parenthood departed from the regimen for administering the pill that the FDA proposed. Coming up with its own regimen, Planned Parenthood turned itself into a Mifeprex “Pez dispenser,” while at the same time reducing the number of required office visits for its pill-popping cliental.
Despite the FDA’s repeated warnings that its approved regimen should be strictly followed in the administration of RU-486, Planned Parenthood refused to comply with the FDA until last week. The two latest women to die from Mifeprex-induced miscarriages appear to be the straws that broke Planned Parenthood’s back and brought it around to FDA compliance. Planned Parenthood is still refusing, however, to require women to take a second round of drugs in their clinics. Although the FDA proposes that the second drug should be administered in a doctor’s office, Planned Parenthood is handing it out to women to take at home.
When coupled with the mounting evidence that its clinics routinely cover-up the statutory rape of young girls, this nonchalant dispensing of miscarriage-inducing Mifeprex should prove to us all that the only thing Planned Parenthood really cares about is its radical feminist agenda. It certainly doesn’t care about the unborn, and appears to have very little concern, if any, for pregnant teens and women. Of course, we all know how Planned Parenthood feels about the male sex. If you don’t, just consider this definition of “man” found in “A Feminist Dictionary” by Cheris Kramarae and Paula A. Treichler: “An obsolete life form.”
