Islam's Double-Dealing Deity

Yesterday, Al-Jazeera—the Pravda of Islamic fascism—broadcast an audiotape of terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden. On the tape, bin Laden warns us of upcoming terrorist “operations” that are already “under preparation,” as well as of our inevitable destruction at the hands of him and his cave-cowering al-Qaida cohorts. In spite of the upper hand al-Qaida supposedly holds over us like the sword of Damocles, bin Laden is still willing to offer us a truce. All we have to do is withdraw our troops from Afghanistan and Iraq. If we will, al-Qaida promises to spare us and permit us to “enjoy security and stability.” Shucks, maybe ole bin Laden ain’t such a bad fella after all.
Believe it or not, I heard a liberal Democrat on television last night proposing that we pursue bin Laden’s offer. So what if bin Laden orchestrated 9/11 and the mass murder of 3,000 Americans, shouldn’t we at least talk to the guy now that he wants to make nice? Although it may burst liberals’ bubbles to learn, Islam actually teaches Muslims to offer truces before they attack and to use truces to deceive their enemies in order to gain advantage over them in jihad (holy war).
Islam’s founder, the Prophet Mohammed, always exhorted his followers, “Invitation first, then war.” He taught his followers never to attack and kill infidels and “the people of the book” (Christians and Jews) until infidels had a chance to convert to Islam and Christians and Jews had a chance to surrender and submit to Muslims. Even the Koran’s famous verse of iron teaches that Allah sent the “messenger” (Mohammed) before “he revealed the iron” (the sword), which according to the Koran is the real strength of Islam (Surah 57:25). Why do you think it’s called the “Religion of the Sword”?
Furthermore, Mohammed taught his followers that “war is deceit.” Indeed, Mohammed praised his god Allah for being the greatest of all deceivers (Surah 8:30). It was with the help of a false truce—the Treaty of Hudaibiya—that Mohammed himself lulled the Meccans to sleep so that he could march on Mecca and conquer it. Instigated and sanctioned by none other than Mohammed himself, this practice of lying to further the cause of jihad is known among today’s Muslims as “taqiyya” or “kitman.”
In view of all of this, how can anyone take yesterday’s offer of a truce from Osama bin Laden seriously? How stupid and naïve do you have to be to fall for the offer of a truce from a murdering terrorist who has been trained to lie in the service of his double-dealing deity?
