ISLAM > SWEEPING SIN UNDER MUSLIM PRAYER RUGS

Islam's "Law of Desire"
6 Jun 2007

Like many today, you may find yourself flabbergasted by the fact that Islam is the world’s fastest growing religion. It is not only the fastest growing religion in the world, but also in these United States. In spite of its spawning of worldwide terrorism and sworn enmity against Israel (the little Satan), America (the great Satan), and the whole of Western Civilization, the jihadists’ religion is sweeping the globe. All embittered and enraged souls; that is, those believing themselves to be the hapless victims of powerful oppressors like the evil Jews and the Zionist state Israel or white Europeans and the Christian championing America, are prime candidates for conversion to the Religion of the Sword, which promises its converts to throw off the yoke of all their oppressors.

In addition to drafting jihadists for holy war by tapping into people’s vengeful desire to strike back against all real or perceived oppressors, Islam holds other drawing cards as well. For example, consider the allurement of the Muslim religion’s temporary contractual marriages. According to the Hadith, the Prophet Mohammed permitted his followers to “make an agreement with any woman to make love with her for three days, then give her compensation; such as, a robe, a dress, or some money.” Once compensation was given, all temporary marriages were immediately dissolved.

The reason behind Mohammed’s institution of this abominable practice was explained by a couple of his contemporaries. The first wrote: “While we were in the army, Allah’s Apostle came to us and said, ‘You have been allowed to have pleasure, so do it.’ If a man and woman agree to marry temporarily, their marriage should last three nights.” The second wrote: “We used to participate in holy battles led by Allah’s Apostle and we had no wives with us. At that time, he allowed us to marry women with a temporary contract and recited to us this verse, ‘Oh you who believe, make not unlawful the good things which Allah has made lawful to you.’”

Obviously, Allah wanted Mohammed’s jihad warriors to have sexual pleasure while they were away from their four permitted wives on military campaigns. Therefore, through his spokesman, the Prophet Mohammed, Allah sanctified prostitution by declaring it temporary marriage. No longer was it a sinful thing, but a “good thing”; no longer was it “unlawful” for Muslims, but permissible.

Islam’s temporary marriages, which are also called “The Law of Desire,” are nothing more than the legitimizing of adultery and prostitution. They are still practiced by Shiite Muslims in different parts of our world; however, they are no longer required to last three nights, but can now be as short as fifteen minutes.

Recently, Iran’s hard-line interior minister, Mostafa Pourmohammadi, encouraged temporary marriages as a way for Muslim men to avoid extramarital sex. According to Pourmohammadi, “Temporary marriage is God’s rule. We must aggressively encourage that.” If you ask me, temporary marriages don’t help Muslim men avoid extramarital sex, but give them a license to freely engage in it under the pretense of marriage and with the sanction of their religion.

Having already sanctioned mass murder as holy war and prostitution as matrimony, what’s next for the Muslim’s sin-sanctioning religion? One thing for sure, as long as it keeps sanctifying sin and redefining it as religious practice its phenomenal growth in this sin-crazed world will continue unabated. After all, Islam’s redefinition of sin as suitable behavior is far more popular than Christianity’s repentance of sin and change of behavior.
