Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and members of his administration voted yesterday to designate the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as domestic terrorist organizations. Meanwhile, in the state of Michigan, where Muslim majority populated cities like Dearborn, are now being governed by a Muslim majority municipality, Abdul El-Sayed, whose own father-in-law is suspected of having links to the Muslim Brotherhood, is running for the United States Senate.
According to a 427 page document that accompanied the vote of the DeSantis Administration to designate CAIR as a terrorist organization, there is ample evidence to do so. For instance, CAIR director and co-founder Nihad Awad, publicly professed to be “happy” about the October 7th attack on Israel by Hamas terrorists, in which more than 1400 innocent Israelis were mercilessly slaughtered, including infants and children. Awad went on to say that Israel had no right to self-defense, because it is an occupying force and October 7th was simply the breaking of the Israeli siege by the subjects of Israeli occupation.
As soon as CAIR had been designated a terrorist organization in Florida, it immediately sent the legal arm of the Left, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), more appropriately dubbed the “Anti-Christian Litigation Unit” or the “American Criminal Liberties Union,” to court to sue the state. According to Hina Shamsi, the director of the American Civil Liberties Union's national security project, there is no “evidence that CAIR has engaged in any violent or dangerous act in violation of Florida or U.S. law.” However, Shamsi, who is a Pakistani citizen, knows, or at least ought to know, that an organization that aids or abets terrorist organizations can be legally designated as a terrorist organization, even if it doesn’t directly engage itself in any dangerous or violent act.
The 427 page document that accompanied the vote of the DeSantis Administration to designate CAIR as a terrorist organization is packed full of proof that CAIR is a supporter of and sympathizer with terrorist organizations. For instance, in the Holy Land Foundation trail, the largest terrorism financing prosecution in American history, not only was Ghassan Elashi, a founding board member of CAIR, found guilty of financing terrorist organizations, but other founding members of CAIR were found to have connections with Hamas, and CAIR itself was found to be one of the organizations working to achieve the goals of PALCOM, the U.S.-Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee. The evidence that CAIR is an aider and abetter of terrorist organizations is so cut and dried that even the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has designated CAIR as a terrorist group, due to its clear ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. Yet, the anti-American ACLU has not only rushed to the defense of CAIR, but also to denounce DeSantis’ designating of it as a terrorist organization, despite the fact that the UAE, along with all the other sensible people in the world, can clearly see that CAIR is in bed with radical Islamic jihadists.
Muslim leaders have long boasted that our democratic laws will enable Muslims to invade us and to eventually dominate us. I’m afraid that what they’ve crowed about is now being carried out, at least in cities like Dearborn, with its Muslim municipality, and New York City, with its duly elected antisemitic Muslim Mayor Zohran Mamdani, as well as in states like Michigan, where Abdul El-Sayed is running to be a United States senator. While most Americans are afraid of being called an Islamophobe, I’m far more concerned about America being Islamized.
