ISRAEL > THE PALESTINIAN RUSE ABOUT THE JEWS

6 Jun 2011

It’s hard to function in a world based on fabrications rather than facts. Yet, just about everywhere you turn today people are living on lies and oblivious to the truth. It makes no difference what reality is, people prefer living in an illusionary world of their own making. How else can you explain people’s faith in evolution—the belief that everything came from nothing—multiculturalism—the belief that cannibalism is just a matter of taste—and politicians, who, according to George Orwell, can “make lies sound truthful, murder respectable and even give the appearance of solidity to pure wind”?

The current strained relations between the Obama Administration and the nation of Israel are predicated upon nothing but pure fabrication. Although falsehoods are not foreign to our nation’s foreign policy, there has never been a greater one than the so-called disputed territories of the Middle East; namely, Gaza, the West Bank and the Golan Heights.

Contrary to popular belief, none of these disputed territories have ever been under Palestinian control, much less taken from the Palestinians by Israel. Instead, before 1967, Gaza was under Egyptian control, the West Bank was under Jordanian control, and the Golan Heights was under Syrian control. Israel captured these lands when attacked by its unprovoked enemies in 1967. It retained them out of necessity, to serve as a buffer zone for future defense against surrounding enemies sworn to its destruction.

Ever since Israel’s surprising victory in the “Six Days War,” a war perpetrated by its enemies for the express purpose of “driving the Jews into the sea,” anti-Semites have propagated the lie of the Palestinian diaspora and the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories. Of course, our truth-spurning-world has readily swallowed this lie hook, line and sinker; so much so that anyone unsympathetic to the Palestinian cause is now accused of being an Islamophobe. This, despite the fact that those responsible for coercing our politically correct world into falsified Palestinian sympathies are anti-Semites.

For a long time now, our world leaders’ foolhardy formula for peace in the Middle East has been articulated by the catchy cliché: “Land for peace.” According to this cockamamie theory, if Israel gives land to its enemies then Israel’s enemies will be appeased and become peace-loving neighbors of the Jewish state. The reality, however, has proven to be quite the opposite.

When Israel pulled out of Lebanon and Gaza in 2006, Israel’s sworn enemies took advantage of the Israeli pullout to commence a daily bombardment of Israel with rockets and mortal shells. This indiscriminate shelling of Israeli territory continues to this day. Dennis Ross, a former Mideast envoy, has pointed out, in light of this indisputable development, what is the undeniable truth. Rather than fulfilling the political pipe dream of “land for peace,” Israel has actually swapped “land” to its sworn enemies “for war.”

In an attempt to add to the fabrication of dislocated Palestinian refugees, Jew-hating Muslims have spawned another subtle lie that is seldom caught and scarcely known. In the Koran, it is taught that the Prophet Mohammed traveled one night from Mecca to “the farthest mosque” on a mythological steed named “Buraq.” From this mosque, Mohammed supposedly ascended into heaven and received instructions from Allah as to the number of prayers Muslims are to pray each day. “The farthest mosque” was once universally believed to be the “Al-Masjid al-Nabami” or the “Mosque of the Prophet,” which was located in the city of Medina. It was certainly not believed to be the Dome of the Rock, which was nonexistent at the time.

Today, however, all Muslims insist that Mohammed’s Night Journey was taken from the Dome of the Rock. By doing so, they provide themselves with a “sacred” claim to Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, turn a once neglected and rundown mosque into Islam’s third holiest site, and suggest that Jerusalem is as holy a city to Muslims as it is to Jews and Christians. Predictably, our unsuspecting world unquestionably accepts this pure fabrication as the unvarnished truth.

There is no such thing as a two state solution in the Middle East. It is, as it has always been, a grand illusion dreamed up by dense politicians with their heads stuck up in the politically correct clouds. Neither is there any hope of appeasing unappeasable Muslims, as is proven by the fact that none of their ilk is yet to recognize Israel’s right to even exist. Instead, they are all sworn to “wiping Israel off the map” and to “driving the Jews into the sea.” Still, the Obama Administration insist that Israel “play nice” and grant to its sworn enemies all that they demand; after all, we all know how trustworthy they’ve proven to be and how sincere they are in their peaceful intentions. Right?
