TODAY'S DEVOTION ON THE BIBLE
How can we know what is right and true? How can we know what is wrong and false? According to the Bible, it can serve as our lie detector, enabling us to discern right from wrong and truth from lies.
The ancient Prophet Isaiah gave us wise counsel in Isaiah 8:20. He taught us that anything anyone says in contradiction of God’s Word—His “law” and “testimony”—is wrong and untrue. It is void of the “light” of God and therefore should not be believed lest it lead us into the darkness of deception.
If the Bible is our one sure gauge of right and wrong, as well as truth and lies, how will you be able to discern right from wrong and truth from lies if you don’t know the Bible?
